"An outstandingly original site"
When Saturday Comes

"Irresistibly odd"

Comments: Loved the cartoon strip on the Manager of the Month award, and the report on the Bristol City game (of course). We cunningly avoided the curse by fielding the stiffs in the Daft Rucks Trophy and getting stuffed by Plymouth Argyle. Console yourselves with the thought that we've saved Lou Macari from getting it again this month. Good luck and congrats on a great website!

Comments: Up to your usual high standard, couldn't agree more about the pathetic TV coverage of yet more boring Premiership games. The subject was brought up on Talk Sport and the answer was....(yes you've guessed it) money. Apparently Prem games attract higher viewing figures, must be all the armchair fans and in my opinion, they don't count.

Play up Pompey (hopefully with a certain J Vincent in the team)

Comments: Love the Pressman stuff - as an Owl I guess I should be terribly offended....but it's funny cos it's true!! But Gerald Sibon as a stick insect?? Sometimes stick insects have been known to move. Much better to compare him to a lampost. He's about as much use!

Comments: as an Owls fan there should probably be some sort of Yorkshire hatred/rivalry, but with a site that funny it's just impossible!! PS Pressman's obviously just trying to expand to fit the entire goal, he keeps Sheffield's pie businesses afloat single-handedly!

Comments: Well its taken me this long to build up the guts to read the Pompey report, it was such a poor game and I am so sick of us drawing every game. Actually I've been on me 'olls and never got a chance to check it out. By the way, the buglar and the bell ringer are one and the same person, none other than John PFC Westwood. All the best with your second half of the season.

Comments: Well, what a turn-round for Udders - on the last six matches, you're equal top with Fulham and just ahead of Bolton. What's the difference? Is it Ndlovu? Is it that the players have finally realised Brucie won't be coming back and they can have fun again? Or is the luck you were short of earlier now pouring down on you like tons of invisible lead soup?

Anyway, all the best for the New Year, hope you win some more matches (and thus stay above the Wednesday) but have the good grace to allow us to do the double on March 17th...

when I read reports like that! The bit on Beasent was especially funny, if slightly unfair, hes been brilliant for the last few seasons.

Thanks for all the laughs during the year on this fantastic site which is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

During a dreadful 2000, this is probably the only thing we have had to be proud of about Town.

(Where's Pompey Dave - thought he'd be screaming out for the Pompey report?)

Merry Christmas.

Used to have a Notts County pin badge on the inside of my school uniform much to the bemusement of most people and always follow their results and transfers.

Alex Dyer ... hmm.

Comments: If you need a striker then we have the man for you but he is not going for any less than £2m. It looks as if you could do with a striker. His name is Bobby Zamora and if you don't believe me that he is good then just look on BBC Teletext page 323 and you will see he is top scorer in Div 3.
